To satisfy the specific needs of outsourcing dictation work, BigHand has now created two different options which clients can utilize to send their dictations to outsourcing agencies. These options are the BigHand 'Outsourcing Plug-in' and the BigHand 'Outsourcing Module'. Both are provided free of charge to client users.
Outsourcing Plug-in
The BigHand Outsourcing Plug-in enables an agency to stream dictation playback from a BigHand client who operates either Citrix or Terminal Services. It also enables the agency to license the creation of additional secretarial accounts at the BigHand client for use exclusively by that agency. The advantage of the plug-in is that provides seamless access to the BigHand system.
BigHand Outsourcing Module
The BigHand Outsourcing Module will enable dictation authors to send dictations to an agency via an additional send option. This send option will appear within their recording screen and can be configured with priority options and other meta data. For example the outsourcing send option can be the authors default send, or be named with the agency name, or be a particular document type.
